What is EdaraLab Healthcare?

EdaraLab – Healthcare Management is the first event in the Arab World produced by Harvard Business Review Arabia targeting senior leaders and managers of healthcare institutions – this year’s theme is “Value Based Healthcare.”

Healthcare providers are increasingly facing an extraordinary combination of pressures. Despite decades of cost containment and other operational-improvement initiatives, costs continue to rise, putting unrelenting pressure on hospital budgets. The tight management of budgets and clinical processes is further complicating already complex organizations, leaving staff demoralized and disengaged. At the same time, markets are becoming more competitive.

Within this context, Healthcare Providers are trying to find ways of balancing the desirability of increasing access to the most cutting-edge treatments for individual patients with the need to improve health for entire populations in their care.

EdaraLab – Healthcare Management is the perfect platform to continuously engage the leaders, policy makers, regulators, health care providers, consultants and experts to discuss, in details, the benefits of implementing Value Based Healthcare in the region and the challenges to do so.
